For many years Bendigo has been recognised as a great cycling destination, with a strong history in major cycling events. Since 1972 Bendigo has been home to the Bendigo International Madison cycling event during March at the world-class Tom Flood Sports Centre. Stages of the Herald Sun Tour are hosted by Bendigo each October.
Bendigo is conveniently located in the centre of Victoria. It is just under 2 hours from Melbourne with good roads and train services linking Bendigo.

The Bendigo Visitor Information Centre is open every day except for Christmas Day. It is located in the Historic Old Post Office in the centre of Bendigo, opposite the Sharmrock Hotel. Friendly staff with excellent local knowledge will look after all your information, tour and accommodation needs.
